Coordinates and communicates with the ELL Testing Liaison around English proficiency testing and screening for all students who are new to the district and who speak a first language other than English.
Maintains records, files and database; provides information to schools regarding language proficiency assessments, ELL eligibility, Title I, and LAP.
Designs, prepares, produces and distributes a variety of reports and materials using MS Excel and MS Word; works closely with administrator on the grant reports; maintains information such an enrollment figures, case manager lists, and student rosters. Works in conjunction with the elementary office managers and secondary registrars.
Coordinates with others to monitor and maintain accurate English Language Learner, (ELL) Title I, and LAP assessment tracking files and data; performs specialized processes, maintains records of missing compliance documentation and communicates with certificated staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
Works with the testing liaison in order to interpret the test results with parents who may have limited oral skills in English.
Handles a variety of confidential and sensitive issues; meets with supervisors to schedule calendars and identify strategies for the week; provides confidential student information as appropriate; inputs test results; processes a wide variety of forms and requests.

Word processes, proofreads, mails, retrieves, and files confidential Observation Feedback and Annual Summary Forms for 30 certificated staff in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Work with the ELL Testing Liaison to contact parents to schedule initial testing and screening for newly enrolled ELL students and returns testing results to schools within 24 hours.
